- The Mutianyu section of the Wall is one of the most beautiful and natural sections of the Great Wall in Beijing. It is less crowded than Badaling and highly recommend.
- This full-day Beijing sightseeing tour to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China provides an opportunity to experience steeper sections of the wall.The Mutianyu section is older than popular Badaling section and features outer and inner parapets, three watch towers and even an optional cable car ride.
- Optional Cable Car or Sky Chair (to lift to the hilltop) and Toboggan Ride (to slide down from the hill). You can buy ticket at the entrance. The price is RMB80 (roundway), 60 (one way).

2. Jinshanling(金山岭) Great Wall + Olympic Venues Photography
[Itinerary]
Hike the east section of Jinshanling Great Wall. Then hike from Jinshanling Great Wall to the west section of Simatai Great wall. As Simatai Great Wall was closed. You will hike back to Jinshanling Great Wall in the middle. The hike is about 12 KM and takes about 4 hours. On your way back to downtown Beijing, you will have time to get a glimpse of the iconic architecture of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube where major sports events were held in the 2008 Olympic Game.

- On the hike you will meet lots of local vendors who will follow you from the beginning to the end. Don’t worry about the these farmer turned vendors. Just treat them with respect and they will treat you the same. They can be quite helpful if you have any difficulty on the way. The local vendors make a living by selling bottled water, postcards, tourist books, T-shirts and souvenirs at higher prices. You are not obligated to buy from them but it can be hard to make them go away. If you don’t want to buy anything, tipping is expected.

3. Shanhaiguan Pass(山海关)-Old Dragon’s Head(老龙头)-Jiaoshan(角山) Great Wall
[Itinerary]
♦ Our private car pick you up from your hotel lobby at 6:30am. Then drive (190 miles,

3.5 hours driving) to Shanhaiguan Pass. Upon arrival, we will visit Shanhaiguan Pass (Shanhaiguan was considered the “First Pass under Heaven” in ancient times), then walk on the wall. Drive to Laolongtou and see the old dragon’s head, the starting point of the 4,000 mile-long Great Wall. Hike on the Laolongtou Great wall for 30 minutes- 1 hour while enjoying views of the wall as well as the Bohai Sea.
♦ Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant at approximately 12:30pm.
♦ Visit the Jiaoshan Great Wall in the afternoon (20 minutes driving distance), hike at Jiaoshan for 2-3 hours, then be driven back to Beijing, arrive at your hotel at approximately 8:00 pm.

4. Jiankou箭扣(Zhengbeilou正北楼-Mutianyu慕田峪) Hike
[Itinerary]
Leave Beijing for Jiankou at 7:30 am, arrive Xizhazi village around 10:00 am. Hike starts from the village through a path that strech to the Great Wall, have lunch at Zhengbeilou tower, then keep going to Mutianyu. Be picked up at Mitanyu parking lot around 3:00 pm.
