Here is Beijing is an independent Foreigner and Chinese run tour club that offers specialized, budget tours around Beijing. It was started by John Chang and his team who are almost native Beijingers, when they realized how expensive and inconvenient the tour services in Beijing were. While there are many tour services in Beijing, anybody who has been on a tour or attempted to take a tour knows that you don’t always get what you want from it. Whether it be time limitations at the sight or “shopping” breaks for the tour guide to make a quick commission, it can be challenging to meet your standards.
We are committed to planning tours based around small groups of friends and family to offer the best Chinese cultural experience possible. We hope to make your journey one of a kind by providing a comprehensive tour of the city, passing along any information we gather. We offer localized budget tours of all Beijing sights especially the Great Wall tour, car rental, translation services and personal assistants for meetings.
